It shall be the policy and practice of the Corporate Employers to recruit Corporate Team Members according or the following priorities:

JOB PURPOSE:  Prepares fast food for customers 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  • Takes food orders, serves customers, receives payment, and gives change

  • Produces finished food product; Utilizes food surplus and leftovers; Stocks for next shift and as needed

  • Observes and tests cooked foods by tasting and smelling them; Checks freshness of foods by ensuring proper temperatures (38 degrees for cold foods, and 160 degrees for hot foods)

  • Maintains and balances bank for cash register

  • Sweeps concession area floors, wipes down and sanitizes food preparation areas; Cleans refrigerator

  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES):



  • Good knowledge of fast food preparation and safety techniques

  • Good customer service skills

  • Good verbal communication skills

  • Ability to handle a variety of customer requests and personalities

  • Basic math skills

  • Cash handling skills; experience using electronic cash register helpful 


REQUIRED EDUCATION OR COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:



  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Must be at least 19 years old

  • No experience necessary; willing to train

  • Basic English skills


 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT: 



  • Concessions/snack bar setting;  Shift work; Required to work weekends, holidays, and overtime;

  • Standing/Walking, 100%

  • Lifting up to 35 lbs. 

  • Exposure to heat and smoke from stoves

  • Exposure to some cleaning chemicals

  • Required to use and operate equipment and utensils such as grills, knives, and slicers

  • Must follow safety precautions and requirements when operating or using equipment, utensils, and chemicals
