Preference for Hiring in Employment

It shall be the policy and practice of the Corporate Employers to recruit Corporate Team Members according or the following priorities:

JOB PURPOSE:  To sanitize and clean dishes, cooking utensils, and related items to ensure a quality customer service dining experience.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  • Wash dishes, cooking utensils, and related items as needed.

  • Safety and cleanliness: Cleans and sanitizes work area, equipment, and utensils.  Segregates and removes garbage, cleans and sanitizes garbage containers. May be required to work in other areas of restaurant.

  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES):



  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Good interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to clear and clean tables

  • Must be people oriented and courteous


 


REQUIRED EDUCATION OR COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:



  • No experience required

  • Basic English skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT: 



  • Restaurant kitchen setting.  Shift work required.  Required to work weekends, holidays, and overtime.

  • Standing/Walking: 100%

  • Lifting and carrying required up to 50 lbs. 

  • Must follow safety precautions and requirements
